Just Moves -- 2016 Undoing Racism/Community Organizing Workshop for Youth/Adult Teams:

NEW THIS FALL!

Youth-centered Undoing Racism / Community Organizing Workshop led by The People's Institute for Survival and Beyond.

This workshop is for YOUTH-ADULT TEAMS comprised of young people (ages 13-22) & the adults who work with them.  For example, a team might consist of 3-8 people, majority young people with 1-3 adults.  We suggest that first, before you apply, you figure out who's on your team and check everyone's availability.

2016 Workshop Dates (participants must attend all sessions):

November 10, 5 - 8 PM  (dinner provided)

November 11, 10 AM - 6 PM  (breakfast & lunch provided)

November 12, 10 AM - 6 PM  (breakfast & lunch provided)

LOCATION: 195 Church Street, 15th floor, New Haven, CT -- First Niagara building

TO APPLY, please fill out the online survey application on this website.  You must be part of a team. Preference will be given to teams from the Greater New Haven community.

Young people fill out the YOUTH survey. Adults complete the ADULT survey.

Thanks to our generous sponsors, the cost to attend this year's workshop is only $100 per person.  But no need to worry about money just yet!  Apply first, and hold the dates in your calendar.  Team payments aren't due until you have been accepted into the workshop.  Just Moves is committed to making sure everyone who's accepted to the workshop is able to attend regardless of financial need.
